Our beloved mentor, Affectionately known to all—students, colleagues, and community alike—as “Thomman,” Dr. Thomas George is celebrated as an educational genius who evolves with the times, always thinking and acting a step ahead. A man of the people, he has proven his greatness not through lofty words but through transformative deeds.
Through his pioneering work, he has introduced an inimitable educational model via LEAD College of Management, an institution that blends academic rigor with inspiration, entrepreneurship, social commitment, and values.
For years, Dr. Thomas has been a professional life-skill trainer for engineering and MBA students across Kerala. His training philosophy challenges the conventional, test-score-driven culture, instead fostering creativity, leadership, and purpose. This vision led him to create an institution where inspiration is as important as instruction—a place designed to spark entrepreneurship, instill social responsibility, and nurture strong values.
Established in 2011 in Dhoni, Palakkad, Kerala, under the Prompt Charitable Trust.
LEAD is a standalone business school affiliated with the University of Calicut, offering MBA programs with a focus on value-based education, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Thomas serves as Director (and is the de facto principal), shaping the college’s culture and academic direction.
Began his professional career in 1994 as an entrepreneur with Prompt Computers, which went on to develop India’s largest touchscreen network for Indian Railways.
Transitioned in 2002 to soft-skill training, focusing on youth and students.
Became an International Trainer with JCI, delivering programs in over 35 countries.
Chief Mentor of Turning Point, a six-day life-skill training program recommended by management experts, with over 290 sessions conducted.
